During my time at Belmont University, it has become abundantly clear that campus is full of incredible musicians, artists, and groups that are all looking for a way to leave their mark on the industry. Miles Monaco, a dedicated producer currently attending Belmont, is no different. He has shown me as well as many other fans found on and off Belmont's campus that he has the skills as a producer, a creative, and a strategist to make a new kind of impact in his respective industries. But with this also comes Miles' high level of experimentation as he now journeys into sounds often found in alternative, pop, and lo-fi music. With his normal repertoire being a solo-producer, he has worked with various talents such as Mylky, NOIXES, and others.
In this episode of DormInform, we dive into Miles Monaco's perceived impact on his listeners, his most recent single, "waste my time," his previous artist alias, and how he has been handling the national pandemic as a creator.
